In 2016, Transbiaga contracted WECS to develop crane lift plans and to size crane for windmill assembly for the new San Roman Wind Farm; located in Cameron County, the wind farm was equipped with 31 turbines of Acciona model AW125 / 3000 resulting in a production of 93MW.
The electricity generated by the project provided a better supply in the Rio Grande Valley, an area that has suffered power cuts due to a lack of local electricity resources and produce enough clean energy to more than 30,000 households. The park is was completed and operational at the end of 2016.

Transbiaga and WECS continued their relationship with the return of Transbiaga to the USA in 2020. We provided the crane lift and assembly planning services for the Reloj del Sol Wind Farm, which is located outside of San Ygnacio in Zapata County (Texas). The Wind Farm consists of 63 Nordex Acciona AW132 wind turbines and has an installed capacity of 209.4 megawatts (MW) — enough to power approximately 48,000 average Texas homes with clean energy each year.
